Development Updates of New Projects in Noida

Noida is one of India’s most developing cities in the National Capital Region (NCR), and it is experiencing new infrastructure and real estate developments sprouting across the city. A myriad of new projects in Noida, from modern modes of transport to visionary city planning projects, are set to move up the growth chart in terms of connectivity and prosperity.

Current and future construction projects in Noida are expected to greatly influence and benefit the daily lives of the people and working populace of the area. The availability of transport networks such as the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the under construction Jewar Airport will significantly improve connectivity within Noida and to other regions of the NCR. This will lead to better employment opportunities for working professionals and more accessible transportation for residents.

This blog will review the recent changes to these groundbreaking endeavours and reveal how these new projects in Noida will define this city’s future.

A New Convention Centre Gets Approval From Greater Noida

Another developing city in the NCR is Greater Noida, where the authorities have made great progress in improving the conditions for infrastructure and services with the approval of plans for a new convention centre and a cargo terminal. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has approved a 25-acre exhibition convention centre in Sector Chi that will augment the existing India Expo Mart in the wake of many national and international events expected to flock to the area.

Also, a 260-acre cargo terminal in connection with ICD in Dadri is part of the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan. This terminal is expected to create around 15,000 employment opportunities and build Greater Noida as a crucial logistics node in the NCR.

These developments are well timed with Greater Noida’s rising profile and the new Noida International Airport set to become fully operational in the near future, which will expectedly bring more VIPs and foreigners to the area. With these measures, Greater Noida has planned to develop and improve the city’s sectoral and infrastructural facilities and public services to match the vision statement of growing as a world-class city.

YEIDA Has Laid Out Plans For A New City Close To The Noida Airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has unveiled its intention to build a new city adjacent to the Noida International Airport, which is under construction in Jewar in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. This mega venture will entail purchasing more than 6,000 hectares of land in the neighbourhoods of the new airport for various social, business, and industrial uses. The new city will be developed on the Yamuna Expressway, which connects Greater Noida to Agra, to leverage the growth and connectivity of Noida International Airport. It is planned to attract new businesses, residential, and tourist destinations to the NCR. Projects such as this could also elevate the value of property in Noida, making it an investor’s haven.

The large-scale land acquisition and development plans further reflect YEIDA’s future plans to develop a fully-fledged modern city that can meet all the needs of the population and businesses in this region of Uttar Pradesh. This mammoth plan is anticipated to revolutionise the environment around Jewar Airport and attract more regional investment and development.

The proposed plan of YEIDA for developing this new city alongside the Noida International Airport ensures that the accessibility of an airport can be used to build a sustainable and fully functional new city capable of generating sufficient revenues and services for the overall development of the area. The size and position of the project in the region define it as one of the priorities of the area’s development for years to come.

LRT Service To Connect Noida International Airport To Pari Chowk

Among the new projects in Noida is the Light Rail Transit, or LRT, which is proving to be a viable means of transport in the region surrounding the proposed Noida International Airport. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has proposed implementing the LRT system from the airport to Pari Chowk.

These light rail trains are intended to move at a speed of up to 80km/h to improve the transport means within the area for residents and other commuters. Thus, LRT systems are usually less expensive to implement than normal rail transport infrastructure.

At the beginning of the project, YEIDA had requested feasibility studies and detailed reports from Siemens and IPRCL. The authority is now looking for improvements to multimodal transportation connections in the Yamuna City area to the extent of the new Noida International Airport.

Proposed pod taxis for the industrial sectors have been put on hold, and the LRT system over the Yamuna Expressway has been planned. This shift shows that YEIDA is keen on establishing an efficient, accessible, and cheap public transport system for the increased number of people and firms in the vicinity of the new airport.
