Noida’s Second Expressway Between Noida and Greater Noida

The Noida Authority approved a new expressway project that will follow the Yamuna River route to address growing congestion on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. This upcoming expressway will create enhanced connectivity and shorten travel timelines.

Key highlights:

  • The proposed route will bypass Noida and Greater Noida, accommodating the region’s rapidly growing population and vehicle load.
  • Two design alternatives are under consideration:
    1. An eight-lane ground-level expressway
    2. A six-lane elevated road

The final blueprint development will follow future demand assessments and traffic feasibility studies. The Noida International Airport’s upcoming launch requires this second expressway as a regional connectivity foundation and a vital tool to reduce traffic congestion on main arteries.

The real estate market along the Yamuna Expressway will also experience increased demand, opening up new investment opportunities.
