The Fintech Hub project will also be covered by the Uttar Pradesh Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy, under which companies with 100% FDI will be eligible for land subsidies.
Also, it has been proposed that the companies will be provided grants for Research and Development for five years, training for skill development, and several other monetary benefits.
NHAI Plans To Build An Expressway Connecting Kanpur And Ghaziabad-Noida
Efforts are afoot to connect Delhi and Noida to major cities in India swiftly. Uttar Pradesh has already developed a huge network of expressways, and three are currently in the pipeline. New expressways are expected to cut the travel time from Noida to Lucknow by almost half, reducing the total distance by more than 70 km.
What To Expect From The New Expressway?
NHAI has recently proposed an expressway from Kanpur to Ghaziabad-Noida. Construction of a new expressway directly connecting Lucknow and Kanpur is also underway. When finished, two roads will connect Noida to Lucknow: the recently built Noida Kanpur and Kanpur Lucknow Expressway and the present Agra and Yamuna Expressway.
A 380 km expressway between Noida and Kanpur is expected to be ready by 2026 making the area even more enticing for those interested in investing in property in Noida. The land acquisition for this project is said to be 90% complete, and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has been informed of the detailed report.
Changes To Travel Time
The 63 km expressway is planned to run through Kanpur and Lucknow and is expected to be completed before early 2025. At present, the distance between Noida and Kanpur is 380 km and between Kanpur and Lucknow is 63 km, making the total 443 km.
The existing Agra and Yamuna Expressways together take over 7 hours to reach Lucknow from Noida. The new expressways will reduce travel time from Noida to Kanpur and Lucknow. The overall duration of the journey is approximately 4 hours, where commuters can travel from Noida to Kanpur in 3 hours and 20 minutes and from Kanpur to Lucknow in approximately 35 minutes.
Noida Film City to Create 50,000 Jobs
In a statement released in Lucknow, the state government maintained that construction work for the dream project of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Noida International Film City project will start in the next six months. Film shooting and all related activities are expected to commence within the next three years. The investment will generate 50,000 direct employment opportunities and potentially affect up to seven lakh people indirectly. Moreover, with the increasing job opportunities, this mega project could be a stepping stone that could trigger even more demand for apartments in Noida. Meanwhile, investors could benefit from the appreciated flat price in Noida as the area thrives with demand.
While speaking to the media, YEIDA chief executive officer Arun Vir Singh pointed out that one of Film City’s salient features is that it is closer to Jewar airport and is not located in a city like Mumbai or Hyderabad, where travel can be very time-consuming.
The film city shall also have replicas of actual destinations such as Himachal, Kullu Manali, and Kashmir, amongst others, as well as roads, airports, and helipads. There will be temples, mosques, and churches for shooting.
All necessary facilities will be made available, including lodging in villas and shooting on backlots. Other post-production solutions, such as sound mixing and VFX, will also be integrated into the film city after construction.
MotoGP To Return To Noida in 2025
From the following year onwards, the Uttar Pradesh government will assume the responsibility of organising MotoGP Bharat. It will also contribute over 50% of the funds required for the premier motorcycle racing event.
Originally planned to be held in March at the Buddh International Circuit near Greater Noida along the Yamuna Expressway, the event requires Rs 150 crore. The state government will provide Rs 80 crore, channelled through Invest UP, the state’s investment promotion and facilitation agency.
Besides the monetary support, Invest UP has established the privilege of advertising at other MotoGP circuits worldwide. Officials say that among the plans are to advertise Uttar Pradesh as a tourism spot during racing events in the United States, Spain, Japan, the Netherlands, and Australia.
Business conclaves will also accompany such international events to induce more investment in the state. This concludes some of the noteworthy recent developments that would alter the future of homebuyers and investors interested in property in Noida.
